Reasons to have a Bucket list

Last week I finally got to scratch off going to Stonehenge off my bucket list (I can assure you it was an uplifting spiritual experience!) and I'm so glad to have finally done it. Why was it on my list? Well when I was a kid I read about alot of myths, legends and stonehenge came up a few times (of course the most memorable things that drew me to Stonehenge was the show "Mighty Max" where the main characters power was linked to the historic sight). But this isn't about Stonehenge as much as its about the importance of having a bucket list.

Now why would you go out of your way to make a list of things you want to do before you kick the bucket? (I would think thats self explanatory...) But think of a bucket list as your goals, or the accents that colour your experience in the world or an opportunity to share amazing experiences with those you love (or complete strangers)! A bucket list can be more than a morbid checklist or some desperate final gambit before slipping into the afterlife!

This is your life so you may as well make it a point to enjoy it and as fun as it is to just ride the waves no mater what comes you way but sometimes there is that one beach that you want to go to with that one person on while utilising that one thing...okay, not the best analogy but you get what I mean. You're life is what you make of it and a ship sailing without a compass or a map will just end up wandering or with a dead crew! (okay a little better)

Look, I just want to encourage everyone to make a bucket list, go after those points on that list and see how it feels. I promise you that you won't be disappointed at all! Now go and get to writing...or however you want to make your list (pandora bracelet, photos, scrapbook, figures...do you and just do it!). Have fun :P
