Places carry a feeling

So I'm on my way to a National Association of Realtors (NAR) in Chicago and I stoped off in Charlotte NC. and you cannot tell me that places don't carry a certain set of emotions with them because as I was in the CLT airpot I had a flood of emotions overwhelm me.

I lived in NC for years (Fayetteville to be specific) and one of my transition points between there and the Bahamas was Charlotte (hell, it may have been worse if I flew into Raleigh). Either way Charlotte felt like home...and by damn it felt amazing.

I've always felt that certain places carried certain emotions because living in New Providence (commonly known as Nassau) I've always felt stifled and suffocated. Like there was no room for growth. Any progress I made was due to being stubborn as a bloody mule. That feeling as always held true whenever I went to a family island (Eleuthera for this particular example) I have generally felt relaxed and like anything is possible but that goes out the window the second I arrive in Nassau (hell I start cussing up a storm in traffic and ultimately wanting anyone who drives badly to die painfully.... look, driving there is hell of stressful!).

So right now I'm in Chicago and it feels like there is so much history that needs to be explored...but thats a conversation for another day. Which I will dive into.

Peace & love.
