Motivate your loved ones

Okay, so I was out drinking with some good friends this evening (of course we were all sober...had to drive home...well I am a little concerned about one person but hopefully she didn't drive back home, but this is me digressing from my point) and some one asked me "Where the hell is the next blog post?" -- honestly I've been buried in work and my Dr Mario review has been kicking my arse. Enough with the excuses!

Honestly you don't know how what you say or do can affect someone so why not at least try to make it a positive influence. Motivate the people you love, I'm not saying that you need to shower them with praise but at the very least tell them to get off their arse. Sometimes that's all we need to get going...hell, why else am I siting up at 3am writing a blog post (well aside from the fact that I was trying to figure out why in the hell Lasership hasn't delivered my Amiibos, birthday gifts to myself).

It's pretty easy to get lost in your own life that you don't take heed as to how you influence those around you -- or even consider the impression you leave as you stomp through your day. I have been around people who have left me drained and not want to do anything else for the day; just as I've met people who make me want to live life with more zest...and I try to mimic the latter instead of the former. I don't believe Utopia is possible but I want the people I care about to succeed so I'd rather give them a nudge in the right direction (I'd appreciate the same as well) and I even want strangers to go on and have a good day (Unless they are an inflamed asshole...in which case I'd rather they stayed home with a tub of ice cream or what ever it takes for them to cheer up).

Motivate people, even if their dreams seem far fetched, even if its something bigger than you, even if it sounds silly, even if it results in you seeing less of them but especially if it will bring them joy or success or it associated with their dreams. This is how I think when it comes to those I love because if they are happy then I can share in their joy even if they aren't around.
