I hate to lose...

So, earlier this week a long time friend of mine informed me that I'm horrible at losing...which I agreed with but didn't realize how horrible I was until tonight during a game of Mario Kart. Let's put it like this...at one point I just put my controller down and refused to play. During the course of gameplay I repeated the same things over and expected something to change...the definition of insanity. When I couldn't win I just gave up. At the end of the night he gave me some tips on how to improve my game...I used some of them in the single player and it improved my game dramatically.

Now you've gotten this far and said "Why would I care about losing in a video game?" (Cleary you don't play video games...). But this lesson can be translated to everything. Hell, I've lost at school (failed so many times till I changed it) failed at work (until I made some changes), failed at fitness (changes were made), hell life hasn't always been fun (bet you can guess how I turned that around).

My major point here is we lose because we have a lesson to learn and we will keep losing until we've learned that lesson. So you might be frustrated with your own losing streak but grow stronger from it...trust me, that will not be easy (unless you are a prodigy...and if you are I have some choice words for you that are not for polite company but more power to you) but it will be worth it.

Best of luck. Embrace your loss and learn from it.

Peace & Love.
