End of 2015

So its New Years Eve and 2015 is coming to a close...damn, its been a hell of a year. I'm going to hit my highlights:

-I've seen some people I haven't seen in a while (for better or worse and I still love you all)
-Severed a few bonds but formed new ones
-Created valuable memories with people I value greatly (that June wedding for example :P )
-Traveled to new destinations (Iowa...didn't think I'd end up there...and Andros for example)
-Gained more experience in my profession (Real Estate ftw!)
-Treated myself (maybe a bit too well on that last shopping trip but hell...YOLO! >.< )
-Had the balls to create this website when I didn't know what the hell I was doing!

2015 has been more than memorable (but then I have a good memory when it comes to events...gift/curse) and it has been educational. If you asked me if I'd change somethings about the year (like everyone) I'd likely say yes initially but realise things had to happen the way they did so I could take some lessons away from it. But on the cusp of this new year I would be doing myself a disservice by dwelling on the past -- even though the past is instrumental in who we are in the present. Going into 2016 I'd like to create a vision of the future that I can work towards creating....that being said I'm going to list a short list of some of my goals for this year (and some of the steps for achieving them).

2016 Goals that I will strive to go after for more than 2 months:

-Be less than 271lbs (yes, that is how much I currently weigh as of yesterday morning)
--Going to need to move more (In my youth I paced but slowed down in recent years. Pitiful. )
--Eating quality foods (Guess who's guilty of eating more fast food in recent years? *raises hand shamefully*)
--Strength training including my body weight (Yup, I'm heavy and if I can lift this mass then I'm golden.)

-Finish one of the novels I've been nursing for this past year (wrote two poetry books but thats not the same)
--Write every damn day! (Nuff said...no, I'm not being extreme...)
--Enter my flow state more often ( Find yours at: http://www.flowgenomeproject.co/ )

-Travel more (look I'm young..ish, and there is more of the world I want to see and more experiences I need to have)
--Budget (Ha! did that already...just need to stick to the damn thing..... >.< )
--Research (very important, just logging onto Expedia.com and just slapping a trip together is costly)
--Include loved ones (they hold you accountable and lets be honest they make it more enjoyable)

-Work on becoming a master diver (I have not scuba dived this entire year..its shameful)
    --Budget (see above)
--Make the right contacts (yup, have someone I'm gonna remind about that in a moment...)

-Do the damn thing! (most important thing on this list)
--We can talk about what we want to do till we go blue in the face or our fingers get numb but it all amounts to nada unless we do it!

Be Safe tonight, enjoy yourselves and look out for your future...you will thank yourself :P
Adios 2015!

2016, my new stable lover, hope you're ready to get cracking!
