Sunsets are beautiful because they are fleeting. For a few moments we see the sun as it fades from our view. It's at its most beautiful just before we are left in darkness. Kind of a metaphor about life. It's fleeting, harsh but we shine brightest before we fade into darkness. Or, less morbidly, its a metaphor of our creative periods. Do yourself a favour and watch the sun fade away so you can decide for yourself.
